New To YOGA in the Secret Garden?
We want to welcome you to our space. You don't have to be an experienced yogi to attend our classes, we welcome everyone. Our goal here is to provide a place where you can relax, have fun, and learn about the wonderful ways that yoga can heal our body, mind, and soul.
Where are the classes and how should I sign up?
The classes are held in the back yard. All students should sign up in lower entrance (when facing the building it is on the left side. Please arrive 10-15 min prior to class so that you give yourself unrushed time to check-in and get settled before class starts.
What should I bring to class?
Bring your yoga mat, a towel, and water. Please don't forget to apply sunscreen!
What if it rains?
Since this is an outdoor yoga class - weather is one thing we can't control. We have a small studio in the back of the yard that can fit a limited amount of people - so please call so that you can reserve your spot.
Shhhhh - No cellphones please
One of our goals here is to become one with nature. This becomes difficult when technology gets in the way. Please turn off your cellphones prior to class - better yet leave them in you car!
Is there music?
No, you will be listening to the sound of nature: birds, waterfall, and wind through the trees
Can I eat before class?
Eat lightly and give yourself at least an hour to digest before starting a class. Please hydrate yourself properly!
What should I wear and where can I leave my stuff?
Wear clothes that do not constrictor your movements. We also recommend you wear layers as some morning can start off a bit chilly and then become hot. You can leave your belongings on the counter behind registration or locked in your car. Keep your shoes until you get on your mat.
Where should I park my car?
There is lots of street parking - no permit is required
Will there be bugs?
As our classes are held outside, we can't keep the bugs out (it's their home too)
Still have questions?
Give us a call - we would love to hear from you!
